Description
Wang Bu Gi is the name given to a rather small island which resides on the back of the King Turtle. When it was first discovered, it was thought to be just another inconspicuous island and settlers arrived to claim it. After having established a village, ship captains found it notoriously difficult to chart as every time they would follow a map to it, it would be in the wrong location. It wasn't until a local villager having gone for a swim had come back crying about seeing a giant eye looking back at him that it was discovered the island was alive. The turtle has been tracked to slowly circle the main island of Kyodai on a six month cycle. While the King Turtle has not done so, it is feared that he will one day submerge, drowning the entire island. As a result, those who live on his back worship him as a nicolas cage, bringing offerings of food, jewels and artisan crafts for every circuit he makes around Kyodai. While they are unsure if the King Turtle even acknowledges these offerings, or is even sentient enough to do so, it gives the residents some comfort.
